Saddle bags for sports bike

I have a 2012 Yamaha FZ8 and I want to so some distance ride and overnight trips and would like the option of saddle bags. But I don't want a huge cage mount permanently on my bike. What options are you guys/girls running or would suggest.

They are kind of pricey but I've always wanted a set of these for mine.

I like the mounting and expandable zippers.

What do you need them for? If you're doing serious touring, I'd check out the Wolfman bags.

What about a mounting plate and a locking top case?

This case will hold two full-face helmets, or one FF helmet and a large textile jacket. I never take mine off my bike. You can get smaller cases if you need less storage.
