Another Newb

Hey there! I'm very new to the whole game, and here's a shot of me valiant steed:

20150708 182553 zpsmq6kuuwb

20150720 233704 zpslmnvlqf3

Right now, I've only driven her to the gym and back, and got a ways to go until the break-in period is over with.

I live in Sugar Land, but work downtown. Just moved from The Woodlands area.

So, and good twisties around here, or do I need to travel.

You have good taste.

Make sure your front brake fluid reservoir and rear ABS sensor bolt are torqued to spec--I almost had my brake fluid reservoir come completely off mid-ride and I literally lost my ABS sensor bolt over the weekend, and the bike had an absolute fit when that sensor came out. I'm not sure if these are things that the dealer would have been in charge of doing or if it just comes that way out of the crate from Triumph and they don't touch it.

Err, wheel speed sensor, not ABS sensor.

I like the Sena for phone and music well-enough. The camera leaves a lot to be desired, but it serves the purpose well. I'd still like to get a Hero setup on my helmet, but this has done well with Vlogging, and what-not.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and tips guys. I've had a lot of fun since owning her.

I was reading up on the Sena but picked up the Drift Ghost instead and will eventually pick up a Hero myself.

Thanks for the late welcome, Deano! Apologies for the late "thanks." LOL

Jaynvius1, How you liking that Drift Ghost? The specs look nice!

I recently won a GoPro Hero Black that I'm going to try out. The quality is night and day compared to the Sena-10c; but the Sena's not really designed to be badazz in just one category. It does well all around, and is considerably low profile compared to the Hero. I just leave it on the helmet and use it for music and calls on the road.

I'm loving this bike! It's a torque monster!

I like my Ghost. It gets the job done plus I love the remote on it. I should of went for the S when I got it but I'm pretty happy with it. Only complaint is that you will need to buy the Drift OEM mic, otherwise, the wind noise is really bad when you record with third party. But videos and stills are really clear and good looking.
