Pesky no start issue with my 07 R6. HELP!!!!

I have a issue Ive been chasing for sometime now. It's my Track 07 Yamaha r6 with 2,300 miles. The bike will crank crank crank, has fire but will not start unless I shoot carb cleaner in the intake. Once it starts it will stay running and runs like a scalded ape. So first thing I did was send the injectors out and had them cleaned and flow tested and they are good. Changed spark plugs, TPS sensors (2) Replaced battery, and fuel pump. Same exact thing. So I ordered another Throttle body off ebay with 1200 miles on them, went and tore them down and cleaned just in case. Same thing. I'm tired of starting the bike with carb cleaner at the track every time, and carb cleaner bill is getting ridiculous!!!!

ANY HELP WILL BE MUCH APPRECIATED

Does it have to be started every time with carb cleaner? or can it sit for 5-15? minutes and it fires on its own?

When you 'key on' can you hear the fuel pump prime?

Fuel pump primes, has 47PSI, must use carb cleaner every time. I thought it may be vacum related, but its fuel injected so I checked everything anyway and no luck

Check your idle adjuster, if someone messed with it and its either A - no longer screwed in or B - set too low you will have these issues.

My money is that its been loosened until becoming disconnected.

2010 too fiddy

another coming soon....

are you running an aftermarket exhaust, Ive read on the r6 forum that if you put an exhaust it will have starting problems. something to do with not enough back pressure. I had the same issue with my 07 and 08 r6's. the way that i would turn on my bike is, when cranking, the bike will start, but i would stay on the starter button another 2-3 second longer and the bike would stay running.

Pesky no start issue with my 07 R6. HELP!!!!

How's the battery? Good charge with good cells? Too much drag from the clutch being sticky? Rig up a tiny hose to your tbs and spray starter fluid in it. too lean to start? Cover the tailpipe and start it? Lol

I thought you took the Bazzaz off. If not, what do the cells look like at idle in terms of fuel mapping?

I does have aftermarket exhaust, but just isn't sending fuel at start up. It never tries to start unless I shoot carb cleaner in the tank. I can hold it until the battery get weak and nothing. Also never codes out. I have been wondering if maybe my tip over switch could be the issue? But I think it kills fire, not fuel out put??? Just frustrating!

I took off tested as stock with no change, so it's back on. I need to plug it in tomorrow and see what the mapping looks like. Maybe able to add fuel below idle rpm???
