umm I think they've always applied. That was the whole point of taking the lowest score out. Nothing in the scoring is changing fromt he way originally done, do the math.
They only apply for the teams that missed the first round. The rest of us would get the best out of 7 and most likely you will not be turning as many laps at The Hill as you would at one of the small tracks but that is to be seen after Saturday.

Not sure this is really possible dude... OHR is too big of a track to get anywhere near the amt of laps we would at Katy or Denton, even doing a 6hr! look at the amt of laps for the past races there.

Well, I was hoping it would be comparable to the amount of laps you would gain at Denton like the first race since the amount of time you will be out there is double. Anthing helps at this point though and if a team misses another race somewhere along the line it will definetly be a deciding factor.

They are takling the best 7 of 8 rounds, but not sure if the scoring will be the same. They may apply an adjustment factor

I doubt there is adjustments... At the end of the year it is who turned the most laps.

Could very well be, but if you can turn 180+ laps, plus pull a win, you will gain plenty of points

With that payout we'll be doing good just to buy a value meal for the team!

But, it's much better than what TMGP gives!

Hey Guys and Gals,
I know this is the smack thread but this looks like the active talk section for this weekends festivities. So, I just wanted to wish all the teams good luck out there. The Hill is a fun track and you will have the bike pinned most of the time but, you are also in the mix with some big boys and some much bigger and faster bikes so keep your heads on straght and remember it is an endurance race so leave some room and finish the thing on 2 wheels. Have Fun!
