Re: Freebirds or Chipotle???

well they are both ok! But both over priced!! The best bang for the buck is at Del Sol on 45 and broadway! Its like 3 dollars and you get free chips and salsa!! Plus its real mexican food! Not steamed tortillas.

Re: Freebirds or Chipotle???

Well, I went to Freebirds for lunch... and I can tell you that

A) The super monster is enough food to last until tomorrow.
B) Even with the cayenne tortilla, and their "hot" sauce my nose barely even dripped (a yankee would think it was hot though), so if you like flavor get cayenne, and "hot" sauce. If you like HOT, get the aforementioned, and have them drown the thing in jalapenos
C) The food was good enough that I'll go back again, blows taco cabana out of the water anyday. Not quite to Taqueria Arandas level though.

Chipotle all the WAY!!!
Freebirds all the way....!!!! Bigdawg is right regarding Freebirds is closer to the Mexican taste..so me being Mexican born, vote for Freebirds, but if you want close to the real thing, Taqueria Arandas is very close to the Mexican food and taste.

Re: Freebirds or Chipotle???

never had either. FYI best margarita's that Ninfas make are at the one on kirby richmond. strong but delicious

all the other ninfas have them watered down.

Whenever there is a gay bartender, I tend to get stronger mixed drinks. Does not matter where I go. :eh:
