Decisions...what next?

Ok Motorcycle friends:

05-08 GSXR 1000
04-08 Yamaha R1
08-10 Kawasaki ZX-10

Think I have it narrowed down...Lets hear your thoughts.

Previous CBR1100xx owner and looking for a replacement. I will maybe track it once or twice a year, strictly a pleasure ride. Thanks for your opinions.

Hard to say, all good bikes in theory. I would probably go with the newest/most recent model. Technology advances very fast on these bikes; IE: EFI, ABS, etc. You don't want your "new" bike to be antiquated in comparison after a short amount of time. In saying that, I will never buy another bike based on what I think I want:looks and trendiness. You must sit on them, see which one is the most comfortable, and which one fits your riding style and experience the best. Try to find some friends that have these years and test ride them. You will know once you try them all which one is for you. sorry so long

My previous bike was an 08 zx10. While i loved the power delivery and felt very confident riding around with buddies, i never could get the suspension to feel right. I had a hard time getting the bike "settled" when establishing my line through a corner. Might have just been me. Anyways, good luck with your decision. I would say the only way youre going to know for sure which bike is best for YOU is by test riding all 3. Go to private sellers with cash in hand. Youll find out what you do any dont like real quick

Edit: as much as it hurts to say, i think id choose either an 05/06 gsxr.

I have briefly looked over the Ninja 1000 and Z1000.

Should I add these to my list?

Comfort that you're used to with the blackbird, but with better handling.

Also a better price point and they make hard bags for it.

Of all those platforms you listed, the 07-08 GSXR is the best. Period. I've either owned, enduranced or sprinted every model on that list. The next would be 07-08 R1. That gen ZX10R is garbage. But if you would go to 2011 then I'd get an 11 ZX10r over any on that list.

Decisions...what next?

One bike I haven't considered due to reasons toward the end but have decided to open up is the 2012-2013 Honda CBR 1000rr.
12-13 clip ons have a more, slightly, raise; better riding posture similar to the Bird.
Better pricing as well compared to being brand new.
Looking for all black. Not a fan of the white, red, blue; But that's an easy change.
The dealer market is way more vast for it.
The Low down and mid range is like the Bird.
Reliability is there and ease to work on.
Originally price point and oil burning issues steered me away, but that was more of a 08-09 issue MOSTLY.

Thank you all for your input thus far!
