That sucks Cici! Sorry to hear about you and your friend.

What kind of bike did your friend have? They may have been checking the battery cables to see if there was an alarm, or maybe LoJack.

If you find out who did it, give me a shout and we'll pay them a visit.

Take a picture of it and post it. This might sound like a dumb question, but is your battery in there?

I wouldn't be leaving it there tonight, that's for sure.

Bike thieves know where the ignition wires are in the loom and usually cut them in order to bypass the key. Have you looked the bike over really good. You may just need to splice them back together.

I agree with Shelly, take a picture of the battery and the surrounding wires, this way we can visually inspect it and hopefully get you going.

I have taken cardboard and folded it into a seat, so I could get my bike to a shop before... If you get it running, you should be able to do the same to get it in a safer place.

Yes the battery is there. i see that they tampered with the screws on the battery.
I dont see anything looks cut, but i do see two fuses on the ground..
I see that i am missing fuses but i dont know if i should plug both of them in or not. I see a 30 and a 40. I dont know if i need two 30 or should i put them on left or right side...

Read the top of the fuse box , it will tell you what each spot is for and it will tell you the fuse that it should have in there . Look for the ones missing and see which fuse is takes and plug them in

Need to get that to a garage asap until you get a new seat.
If a thief sees it with the seat already off it will be like them hitting the jackpot

SHE LIVESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I figured it out with the two fuses..popped that baby in and my baby roared!!!
It's the fuses on the top right..not the box thing on the left.
Yes i do have a bike cover as well. Always cover her up..i dont like her exposed.

Already ordered my new seat off ebay.
also, my apt manager has security footages of those scumbag riding off with the stolen bike. Ill keep yall posted if they catches them..if you're interested..

As for my friend other bike (he had two) the other one that was left behind, they cut his wires..it looks like nothing was missing but bike wont turn on cause the cut the wires to the ignition switch...can you sauder copper wires? or just use electrical tape and tape the two parts?
