Never in my wildest dreams would I ever think that's possible . I grew up on bmx and my idols were all riders, I can't tell you how many times I came home broken/ cracked busted up missing teeth from trying tricks and failing my all time favorite rider which is where I got my nick name was Cory "nasty" nastazio . He rode dirt and I started on dirt and that was my idol . I kind of rode like him in a way which was real squirrelly and out , needless to say I never reached his level but I still till this day follow his career and accomplishments .

I remember seeing the movie RAD then everybody wanted to do a back flip. He'll most of us struggled to do one back flip into a lake. Awesome to see a quad.

People jump out of a plane or something and it takes nerve but you always have in the back of your head that really it's "safe". These guys are always doing impossible things that in the back of their heads they really know that it is purely dangerous and probably going to end painfully. No guarantees, no "nets", and they just keep at it every time...... Freaking brave / amazing ppl imo.

Watched "Where the Trail Ends" recently, all of these guys are freakin ridiculous! I grew up on bmx too, got the backflip down, 360, and a few others. Was actually in a newspaper with a couple of friends at Garner State park with pics of backflips into the river. NEVER would've imagined they could take riding THIS far! !

My brain can't even process what would be going thru his head as he's flying thru the air flipping backwards like that.

All about spotting, you get to a point where one flip feels so comfortable it's time to move on to the next. Trampoline, diving, iceskating (lateral rotation when they go into those spins) all of it comes together eventually, and it's the only way to "know where you are at".
