Night recap. Its been 12years since i tried to get down a track on a bike.
Had this bike about a month now..

Run:
1) 10.70@140.9. Rt- .213. Awsome right...lol

Best 10.175 @114.79. Rt -.092

Worst. 11.75@ 79. Rt-2.86. Ran to high n the rpms couldnt shift.

Other runs. 10.45 / 10.48 / 10.330

Best reaction time .013
First two runs RT's were .2xx. The rest were .0xx

Had alot of.problems shifting my RR boots.they were hard to get into.place for shifting. I missed waaaay to many shifts.

I was.pretty happy with the night since its been.so long.and i dont have much seat time on this.bike.

Man you are close to getting into the 9's. Like mentioned above do not worry about your reaction time unless you are racing. If you can shave off another .1 in your 60' it will be like another .2 off of your total 1/4 time. That would get you there.

1/4...

Your nines are right there. Get that 60' down to 1.7 and you will be in the 9s. Check this out. .1 removed from 60' is .2 deducted on the end. It's all in the 60'. Keep the revs high to reduce the bog out of the hole. If you're not leaving with the front wheel up, you aren't leaving hard enough. Even if it's only for a second

Sorry I was I had family come back from Asia.

Yes I was out there on Fri. black 06 gsxr 1000. ugly red frame / swingarm

I was there at 7 left right after the guy ran off the end of the track(9ish) I squeezed in 5 runs.

I know that's what he's doing, but If I tried launching at 9k that would be me right before I wreck. ;-)

Not if you use the clutch right. Remember, I didnt say let go of the clutch. Keep two fingers on the clutch and let it out progressively. If the front starts climbing too fast you just shift. The goal is to slip the clutch and keep the RPM's from dropping. Thats what causes the "bog" off the line. Its all about slipping that clutch and staying in the power.
