[FI]=Fuel Injection, means there is a fault in the fuel injection system. Do you have a PC3 USB? Because every now and then mine will come on and I have heard that the PC3's tend to cause that.

I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO DO THAT, I'LL HAVE TO READ THE SERVICE MANUAL.
IS IT REALLY SERIOUS OR CAN I CAN I STILL RIDE THE BIKE WHILE THE LIGHT IS ON? I MIGHT JUST TAKE IT TO THE DEALER TO GET THAT FIXED.

you can pull the codes yourself to see what the problem is. its not hard you just have to ground out a plug under your seat and count the blinks

What's the code? What slip on do you have? Most likely it is the servo fix that has been tripped. It happens a lot with aftermarket pipes on the 05/06 ZX-6R. It's an easy fix if that is the problem. All you need to do is look online on kawiforums and you'll find out where its location is and what it should look like.
