Report: Former Houston Oilers QB Ken Stabler has died

Former Houston Oilers quarterback Ken Stabler has died, according to an Alabama newspaper.

The Tuscaloosa News reports that Stabler, who went to college at the University of Alabama, passed away at the age of 69.

Stabler was drafted in 1968 by the Oakland Raiders, with whom he won a Super Bowl in 1977. He was also named NFL MVP in 1974.

He then played for the Houston Oilers in 1980-81. He finished his career with the New Orleans Saints.
