I don't group ride and I have to go to the farm (Giddings area) to help fix from all the flooding.

So you lease the track and ride alone too?

It's been done before I'm the fastest one out there, when no one else is around. hehe

I guess I should rephrase it: I don't group ride, where everyone acts like asshats and the cops are after us, or I have to wait up for the slow pokes that think riding is about looking a the scenery or bar hopping. Or I just don't group ride on the street anymore. I'm a loner

No. I use to do all that group ride stuff. I've done the fast stuff, the slow cruise stuff, the long distance, the bar hop, the food hop, the whatever. There always seems to be a problem along the way, so I just stopped riding in groups all together.

There are 2 or 3 guys I know very well that I'll ride with, but that's mostly short distances. The group ride thing just doesn't matter to me anymore.

I do like the track, though. It's a challenge and I can't get a speeding ticket. and yes I have rented a whole track to (mostly) myself. To be exact, there were 5 of us at MSR a while back for an entire day. That was the most fun I have had in a long time. I could practice body positioning and control without worrying about anyone else out there. If I didn't like a turn, I could hit a bypass and be right back at it to try again. Can't wait to do that again.

Point is, when you're on the track you're in a group. Not that bikes have ever been known to occupy the same space at the same time on a track

I have oddily enough, sometime i like to broaden my horizon and open my mind to other views and opinions in the hope to better myself. You on the other hand probably still use a rotary telephone all the while reminiscing of your days at the doll factory brushing on lead paint.

But I can pass at will or they can pass me. I don't have to wait for anyone at the next intersection, I don't have to pull over because someone needs to go to the bathroom or refuel, no one can change the course, or suggest another route, or get lost. If someone crashes, we don't have to wait around for the popo and get asked a bunch of questions and fear of getting locked up, no one is inebriated and we don't have to stop to check cell phones. I can go on.

You've been on some unorganized group rides. That's a shame
