CMRA questions....

if i wanted to race up at oak hill on this coming event....do i have to cornerwork one of those days (since i'm a prov nov)?

if i am reading the prov nov cornerworking policy correctly....it says

"The first day must be worked on the first race weekend you attend after the riderís school or on a race weekend approved"

i'm not sure if i quite understand this correctly, but the way i'm seeing it is....
if i want to race at oak hill this coming weekend....i can race saturday and have to schedule to cornerwork sunday (and vise versa).

is that correct? i thought we can cornerwork anytime we want...as long as it's done within 1 year of prov nov licensing? :dontknow:

thanks guys.

The way I read it is that you have to work the first day, which is a Saturday. Hence, you won't be able to ride until Sunday.

But I don't know the rules, just trying to figure out what their statement means.

To my understanding the way they enforce the rules is like this. If you sprint (which is on Sunday) you will not be eligible to sprint again until you corner work. So you can do it in that order or you can just corner work that Saturday and then sprint on Sunday. Either way... just understand that you will not be allowed to race anymore until you fulfill your corner working duties.

If you are racing.... Won't you be showing up Thursday night or Fiday morning for the track day as well?

Since you have to cornerwork two days, just cornerwork the entire weekend and get it done and over with.

I am just about recovered. (You will be amazed at what 2 days of sleeping can do for you.) I just need a rear rim for an 06 GSXR 600.
