please tell me you did NOT pay $20 to only get your chain lubed? (especially when you can buy a can for a fraction of that and stay home and do it)

the thing keeping him from doing it himself might be that he doesnt have a rear stand.

so, carlos, just buy a can of chain lube and keep it with your motorcycle stuff.
Go ride the bike a few minutes(or do it after riding) to get the chain warmed up.
Then, have a buddy, mom, girlfriend, neighbor etc walk behind you spraying the chain with lube while you roll the bike forward slowly.
Save that $20 for the bike!

give him a hard time all you want guys, at least hes lubing his chain and trying to take care of his ride

how about this...instead of me (and/or others) being the jerk to tell you what you should not have done, maybe from now on (at least until you get a feel for things, 'cause I know you're new to this) before you go have anything done to your bike, get on here and ask if what you're about to do is necessary and correct. It just might save you some time and money!

yeah I don't have a stand right now either, I just do what Less_than_Coop suggested...just roll it and have a friend spray it.:icon_bigg
