Good to go for swapping tires at the track...

Modded my harbor freight tire changer. My rate trackside is payable in cold ones (the night before anyway...:icon_bigg )

Coupled w/ my No-Mar mount/demount bar, it is a scratch free system too...

Comments? Criticism?

Free even if you don't buy tires from him? Also John isn't at all the track orgs...

Yep. It works great. I use carpet covered wood blocks to protect the rim.

I think John charges $10.00 for mount and balance if you don't get the tires from him.

Just a heads up if you're going to mount tires or do any type of work at the track that you are taking money for. Make sure you have liability insurance. If you don't, and something goes wrong, you as a person are liable.
Without an LLC or a corporation to shield you, you can lose everything.

Thanks for the heads up. But, it would only be for friends & family type of thing at no charge. Also, I wasn't planning on doing any kind of undercutting to the already great vendors trackside. I have no plans of doing it to make money. I want no part of that headache. :laughing6

I made it to use at home, possibly to help a friend out, etc. But then thought, hey it would come in handy trackside (mostly for me :icon_bigg )

Yep, that's the one w/ the motorcycle adaptor kit...

Except I got mine for $20 from a guy who was getting out of riding/racing.

I bought the 4' male piece and the small 6" long female piece from a trailer/hitch place. Then I welded the piece of channel to attach the changer to...
