I wear them less and less as well.
What size are the boots ? If they fit me I'll buy them from you and you can go buy different set you like more

I will admit I've never looked at shinguards. Maybe I should. O yeah I never posted on here but I just got my bike back from suspension work. Had to get new handlebars as well some tried to force me into a 18 wheeler when I was splitting lanes. I got away with just a scraped bar end.

i would just buy it from cycle gear. they are very good about warranties and you dont have to save your receipt. theyvhave it saved everything you buy.

also lots of good people every store i been.

fixing to pick up gloves that the threads came loose. 5 year warranty. ill likely never have to buy gloves again cause i wear them more ....alot.

2 Wheel Toys has the best prices, easily. And you guys go into stores and try stuff on then order online from someone... Help our locals out. Most, including myself, will match or get close to the online price you're looking at.

It may seem a little much, but I would suggest knee/shin guards. For a while many MH members were very suggestive to it. So i finally bought a pair. Got used to them every day. Wouldnt you know it, i had an accident. Sure enough the knee/shin guards did its job. If i hadnt worn them....i would probably been picking out denim, asphault, and broken knee particles from my leg. Thanks again MH!

Knee/ shin guards.. Inexpensive, and WELL worth the investment and minor initial comfort issues till you get used to them.

Try them on at a local shop ( or cycle gear) or wjerever you finally order from.

Alright so doing some research h online seems revzilla and cyclegear are doing some deals on Astar jackets. I'm comparing 4 models. The GP Pro 2014 ($530), GP Plus R 2014 ($430), Jaws 2013 ($480), and Atem 2102 ($480). I'm looking for something on the bike off the bike that I can rely on and not be too uncomfortable. I do plan this to be the top half of my 2.piece suit. Thoughts and Comments welcomed.

That Stryker stuff is just as much as a jacket. My textile A* was $200. Leather is king but my textile is still going strong.

Cyclegear runs the sedici leather jackets on sale all the time. They were like @ $200 last time I was looking. It's the top to a 2 pc "race" leathers. Good opening jacket. Next time I am going leather. I like my jacket but there is no doubt leather is better. In fact next time nesto sets his down I might it (not really)

On a side note. Revzilla and Sportbike track gear has very detailed reviews on most jackets. You can see how they fit the model. Very helpful for me

I'm 100% with this quote. Last time I was there I was very impressed with the selection and inventory in hands. Don't buy anything until you pay these people a visit.

If on the north side, I have found Cycle Shack North to have decent selection of gear, I was surprised that I found boots in size 14 that I like. They do seem to have more mx gear than street... Also, don't be shy about asking for online price matching. I have several times and on the boots they actually beat Revzilla, maybe because no one else wanted the size 14...
