Report: Free agent Brewer to stay with Rockets

After testing the free agency waters, Corey Brewer will remain on the Rockets, according to a report by Yahoo! Sports.

The article said Brewer will earn $24 million over three seasons to stay in Houston.

The Rockets acquired Brewer in a trade in a three-team trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Philadelphia 76ers.

Brewer, a 9-year veteran in the NBA, averaged 11.9 points per game with the Rockets in 56 games. He was selected No. 7 in the 2007 NBA Draft by Minnesota.
