He should have checked the Trackleather website.
It was an unsupported event, we weren't going to be there.
He could have come by the shop and rented the leathers though.
We had 2 other people who attended todays track day that picked up their leathers earlier in the week.

It was definetly on the website, I was right there when he registered for it. Here is the CACHED website from google Link

As you can see in the drop down box, its definetly there.

You also had 2 other people at the track wondering where to get their leathers... but this isnt between you and me, im just letting you know

No problem, but since you brought it up, I'm going to set the record straight.

We had pulled the event over 2 weeks ago due to a conflict of schedule.
No one had pre-registered for the event or had even called.

Two people who wanted to rent gear checked the website, saw we weren't going to be at that event and came by the shop and picked up their gear last week.
It's not our responsibility to make sure people check the website if they are not registered.

If your friend needed gear, he should have registered, thereby guaranteeing it.

Does your friend have a confirmation e-mail? No, because he did not register.

In over 6 years we have never failed to make an event that we have committed to support.

In the future, if he wants to rent gear, it would behoove him to register, thereby guaranteeing him his gear.

Yah! Its a great feeling! I just did it for the first time about 2 months ago. Even wore a hole in my jeans and skinned my knee once (on my private road course in my back yard).

I can't wait for that sweet day in the not so distant future when i can feel what so many have felt before me. The exhilaration of letting ones knee skim the asphalt surface while holding a perfect angle and jetting out of the apex. Ahhh I am so jealous, but one day, one day!

knee down is a good feeling at first....then it becomes second nature.....soon you'll wish you never got your knee down because you keep having to buy more knee pucks.
