(i think) bucks and you run all night! its that simple so any one wants to race anyone else then take it to the track please! its not safe on the streets! we all know that !
It was allowed to be the fastest production bike man. If the 14 wasnt regulated (governed), it would be a good bit faster even on the high end than the busa guaranteed so the whole fastest production bike thing doesnt hold much relevance. Id like to actually play a bit at the track. I gotta buy some full leathers and some boots but ill be getting some very soon.

As far as looks go, i dont think the busa or the zx14 look bad but i actually prefer the zx14 over the busa. I have a buddy with a zx14 with a muzzy exhaust, bmc, PCIII, lowered a but with a mildly stretched swing arm and it looks SICK!! Its the same color red as mine and i love what he has done with it! To me, all the busas look the same and everybody has one. They do have really comfortable seats for a sport bike even though its more of a cruiser style sport bike. The zx14's are more rare obviously because they havent been out as long but something about them looks just sexy to me. I hated the headlight setup on the 14r when it came out but now it has really grown on me. I actually really like to looks of the 14r. It looks intimidating.

Well then they need to focus on both the 600 class and the new busa in order to have any bragging rights. Their 1000 got lucky due to the fact that kawi flaked on putting a quality set of tires on the 10r from the factory which made the results suffer because they couldnt push it as hard. Granted, suzuki did bring a mean bike to compete and they did end up winning the shootout but they have made some nasty(bad way) changes to their litre bike. The abc mode and the nasty side duals are just killing it! I guess im also just a fan of being a little different. The cyclops headlight, the extra weight (by alot) and just the overall look is just not apealing to me. When i go to a bike meet, i park beside about 1000 gsxrs. Every noob i see out there wants a gsxr. Almost every poser kid around here wearing a backwards hat and a wife beater(squid) thinking he is pimping is on a gsxr. I like to be different im just not too crazy about suzuki. I owned an 05 gsxr 600 and my 636 is so much better! More aggressive seating position, much better power and handling, it is great! The 10r is everything my 636 is and much more! I rode the 06 gsxr and it just doesnt feel as good to me as the 10r does. The 10r is is wicked and i love it but then again, this is my opinion.

No offense to any sudookie owners out there. lol Ride what you like and what you want. Im not hating on any of the other brands out there, they are all great bikes but kawi is just my preference. When it all comes down to it, all these facts and stats almost mean shat because its all rider preference and honestly, all the bikes are so close that in reality, the great majority of riders cant even ride these bikes to their FULL potential so all of this is really not even an issue.

Whether you win by an inch or a mile it is still considered a win. As far as being a Busa killer I believe that was a term coined by the media and then the peons doing what peons do best they followed. Never once did Kawi release press statements about the 14 being a Busa killer.

LOL, it seriously didn't click where I heard that. Ironic though that a mediocre saying like that reflects on a mediocre arguement such as this one.

Dude you need to order those things asap. It's too cheap to pass up!

i've ran a zx12r w/ my 05 and it wasn't even close. from 60-150 i had a good 8 or 9 bikes on him. ran a modded zx14 when i was making 15whp less than what i am now and we were dead even all the way up to 182 when i let off. both the 12 and 14 had at least slip ons.

one thing about the 14 tho...with just a tre and an exhaust it makes nearly 20 more hp and like 35 ft lbs of torque through the midrange and carries most of that all the way to the top of the rev band.
