Southern pride ride

I realize I may catch some for this and I'm not looking to start any arguments or offend anyone. If you have any negative views simply click the back button.

With that being said this Saturday I will be part of a confederate flag ride. Most will be in trucks but my lifted truck needs some work so I will be sporting it on a shirt and riding my bike. We are meeting in Willis and meeting another group near Houston and riding to Galveston. This is to show our freedom and southern heritage. Please let me know if you would like to join. Im hoping I'm not the only guy on a bike. If so oh well haha. Remember Heritage not hate.

Bets of luck, I wouldn't be surprised if some left wing moron with a chip on their shoulder tries to mow a bunch of you down in their Buick, under the premise they were scared for their lives. " It was the KKK, they was lynching peoples, promoting hate and all", " I's seen them lynching a man on the corner of 249 and 45 next to the shell station".

I have already thought of that. I'm not to to worried but I would rather stand up for my heritage ( I'm from Georgia and I have 7 confederate ancestors) than be scared of some people that don't know history.

I can't attend, but I am an ardent supporter of first amendment rights. While I can maybe see the government not continuing to fly the confederate flag, what's happening in NASCAR (no flags in the infield??) and Apple (no flags in the apps) is absolutely ridiculous.

You ought to fly this flag in the gathering. You know, to be all inclusive.

In his 1991 article in Blue and Gray magazine entitled The Great Imposters, William Marvel gave further details concerning Williams birth, including census records from before his 1932 Confederate pension application, as having occurred between October 1854 and April 1855 in Itawamba County, Mississippi. Those records showed he was too young to have served in the Confederate Army. Also, he did not identify himself as a Confederate veteran in the 1910 census which included a question about whether a person had that status.[14][15]
Just sayin'
