Nothing wrong with burning some fuel around local spots for a few, I've been known to do that here and there. And track days absolutely, I Just enjoy riding the canyon roads. But you have to trailer just like to the track, plus side is dodging the track day cost. But hey like you said to each their own, I'd love to do track days more often. IMO, Hard to beat the rides and fun in the Hill Country.

So now that this thread is hijacked... This "racers road" ride... I've heard rumors of locals throwing things in the roads, still going on? Been a while since I have ridden those roads.

I10, 610 to 610 is under appreaciated. Reminds me of Cali for a few miles. Curvy, elevation changes, wide open road.

Come on man can't believe you're even trying to compare Hwy roads in Houston to the coastline roads of Cali...

Its hard to stack up to the roads on the west coastline... Texas Hill Country is the closest we have to it. Come join us in a couple weekends.
