Correct.

I always enjoyed the few bends on 1489 more than Racer Road. I also recall that short stretch of 1488 just outside Hempstead as being pretty fun. And 3090 just out of Navasota was a fun road as well.

I also remember what a long, boring ride it was to get to those short stretches of road. I don't miss Houston one bit.

Sorry to distract from the smack talk. Carry on.

Totally agree. Racer Road isn't worth the ride for me. There are some decent roads south of racer that I tend to ride more often.

I definitely had some fun on it last month when we rode. You missed many a good road after that, too!

I like that stretch on the gulf freeway where the road is all torn up in the north side left lane. Talk about intense! Try taking that bad boy at 65mph!

Racers Road July 5

Fayetteville/Brenham area rides are probably best you get close to Houston, 1488 has decent little set of corners outside of Hempstead, 1291 is a fun little set... Want some really good roads and a great ride...?
Come ride the Sisters with us on the 18th.

Yeah the ride all across town isn't worth it for me just for a small stretch of road . We have a few fun spots on the se side I like to ride

Ehh. Not much there... We trailer to Magnolia, ride and trailer back... Not much to riding in a straight line.

This is what we were discussing too. The ride back always kills me.

Yep, get or borrow a little utility trailer mount a couple cheap CG chalks in it and presto.

I prefer the few fun spots and back home in 10 to 15 minutes .... Different strokes for different folks . If I ever just have to get my lean on and get it all out I just hit the track days
