What about a DRZ? Wrong bike for the forest trails?

It's no KTM XC but the DRZ would work fine out there. A buddy of mine was flying through there on a DRZ SM with 17s and dual sport tires in the middle of a thunderstorm.

You could do it on a DRZ....is it the best bike for the forest? No, but you will still have fun out there.....bring it on Curt!

Are side by sides like the Polaris razr allowed in the forest? I'm competing in SAE mini Baja this up coming year and we need a place to test. Is the forest possible?

I believe you need to be 50" or less width.

I forget what the width is but thats not far off. Its basically like sport quads but Ive seen back in the trails with bigass 4x4 quads. Side by sides are definitely not allowed on the trails or even on the roads in the forest as they have to be street legal.

50" maximum trail width guys and that might barely get you thru some of the trees, and if there's a turn, forget it, you'll be moving the back end around by hand a whole lot more than you'll want to.

Check out Texas Offroad Ranch in Huntsville, Its big and usually not to busy.
I've had a lot of fun driving my RZR like a Trophy Truck out there.
