Any good trails or ride spots??

I've been out the game for a while so I'm just curious if anyone knows any good spots. I grew up riding rio and I've been to 3 palms a couple of times. But I have some friends I ride street bikes with that want to go mess around on my dirtbike. They aren't going to want to wear gear so paid tracks are probably a no. I'm sure they'll want to have a couple beers too lol.. I usually go to my parents beach house in Sargent so I can fish too, but I'm just curious if there's something closer to town..

What side of town are you on? We always go behind the stripes on 249 and Holderith. Wide open area with a bunch of ditches and retention ponds that are dry. Was just out there yesterday. Nobody will mess with you, just don't with the oil wells out there.

Do you know of any open fields on the east side of town? Wanted to borrow my neighbors 80cc and teach my daughter to ride, but want a WIDE open field.. not a track..

I sure don't. Try looking around on Google Maps and then scope the areas out in person before you take her out there. AS long as you aren't a nuisance, people normally don't mess with you. There are "0" no trespassing signs where we go so I guess it's ok. It seems like it's public land so I'm sure if the law wanted to be dicks, they could kick us out of there.

I'm sure there are some closer spots, but this one is guaranteed if you come this way. We've spent hours upon hours out there with no issues. Just PLEASE take your trash with you. LOL, I'm getting tired of picking up beer cans, styrofoam coolers and bait cans (yes, you can fish there also). I can't stand redneck litter bug and I'm sure they'll eventually ruin it for the rest of us one day.

There is a big retention pond area inside the loop at 610 and stella link. It is right where the loop curves around towards bellaire. We used to ride motards there all the time. Only time we got kicked out was when there was 15 of us at 2 in the morning. Lots of people go there to let there dogs run around and what not. You access from a little entrance on the feeder road past stella link on the west bound side.

Good deal, that's doable (distance-wise)

good to know! thats very close to my house. However, when I was driving by there, last Wed or Thursday around 7:30pm, there were about 4-5 cop cars on the dirt road, and another 3-4 about a 1/2 mile further (west?) down the dirt road to where the trees are. all of them had the lights on

any idea wtf was going on?

Aren't you the one that bought the race gas from me!? But no, I have no idea what was going on. I'm sure some drunk dipshit was trying to run from the cops. Heck, there's been many times where I blasted down the side of 249 right there smooth past state troopers.

I saw that when the I was going home that night as well, looks like they had the dogs out for someone. I figured Tomball cops would be all over anyone riding out there. I ride the trails across from the college now there are a load once the creek subsides.
