Locking the rear brake in panic is not unusual.

Hence the reason I say better to learn how to adjust and use the rear brake.

Fast forward to 2:12 in this one; Vette was halfway in my lane mid-corner and me and Dirty Dee both missed him

A week at the Gap dodging Harleys is really good practice for this.

No speed wobble, he upset the chassis when he panic braked. Looked like both front and rear, plus didn't have his steering set. He was definately NOT ready for anything that was going to happen in that blind corner.

Plus a quick panic brake up front will affect steering attributes even if you aren't in full lean. I think he found that out the hard way.
