I was the one on the camera bike.

Here is the exciting part of my race. I missed the memo about it only being a 2 wave start.

It was originally a 4 wave start and no announcement was made that it changed to a 2 wave start so half the grid didn't know what was going on. Maybe instead of assume that that many people are retarded and can't figure out a wave start, you could instead assume there was some sort of confusion. But I'm sure you already knew that the grids were so messed up we had to do another warm up lap while the officials figured it out.

There was nothing to figure out. There was one red flag in front of you. That means you are the next wave. Once there is no one in front of you holding a red flag you go At the starters next motion. It doesn't matter what the meeting said. Consider it a lesson learned.

Unless you're expecting 4 waves and the first time you got to the grid there were more red flaggers and no announcements were made. I was the first novice middleweight on the grid and only one rider that I know of knew about the change. But I guess I will have to pay attention more to the red flaggers and go based off that and not what I thought was the official word about the grids. Also the lights weren't working either.

Luckily no one got packed at the start and I had fun going through the pack.

Of the middleweight behind me I'd say that not many knew what was going on. I talked to the whole back row they had no idea. The red zx6r had no idea. Not sure about the 2nd row behind me. The two zx6's behind me and to my left are the only ones that I know knew about it for sure.

I'm an r6 and this is my first year as a novice. Not sure if I'll get bumped because I don't race sprints on Sunday.
