Hey, I think it's safe to say that it is now in jest. What fun is it if there can't be any ball busting?

I couldn't hear your exhaust over the sound of me yelling in my helmet that you can't cross the centerline going into a blind turn.

Anyway, thread is hosed. Good job Reid.
Hey man, don't get like that. We are poking fun at each other at this point. I have so much to learn... I'm practically a brand new rider. That's why I ask so many dumb questions. No ego here.

But I do want to ask a serious question. I'm not trying to start , I just really want to know. Do you (and do others) think it's ok to pass someone over the centerline through a blind turn? Or to cross the centerline in a blind turn for any reason, for that matter? That really seems like a death wish. I'm not sitting here thinking "oh man that guy has more than me," I'm thinking, "man if there just so happens to be a car there, the rider is dead." There's a difference between calculated risks where things are (mostly) under your control and hinging your entire life on the assumption that there's not a vehicle driving down the road in the position in which vehicles often legally drive down the road. Like I said, I'm not trying to start , I want to know if I'm not thinking about this the right way.

To me it's more of a "to each their own," type of situation. To me out depends on how sharp the corner is. I did it a few times but only on turns that weren't super sharp so I can see a bit more.

Most corners out there aren't as blind as you think.

Quite possibly. I know there were many corners where I passed in, but also some that I saw passing where I would never dream of doing it. I guess it truly is "to each their own". Interesting to get various opinions on it, though.
