Lifes a beach for sand crash biker

Biker caught out by hazard dumped in road

IT was an unexpected Dakar experience for this American biker whose ride was ruined by a giant dump of sand in the middle of the road.

He loses the front end of his Honda CB300F immediately but fortunately (apart from a few bruises and a bent brake lever) both rider and bike are fine.

Every biker experiences an unexpected hazard in the road at some point - but could this crash have been avoided?
