They'll give him at least 1 more season in the GP, but if he continues at this rate he'll be back in AMA after that.

Cause i highly doubt he'll be on the repsol next season. I think marco melandri will lose his seat also. along with elias.

maybe not on repsol, but definitely at least one more season. There are a few guys that have MOTO GP rides for years of sub-par performance and keep getting picked up year after year.

I just dont think he'll wanna stick around on a crappy team, he wants to shine so he might drop back to AMA where he'll be the big dog again.

He ain't leaving MOTOGP just yet.

Maybe DUCATI will offer him a ride. My feeling is that Honda will not have him back. They will accept nothing but victory. Middle of the pack performance will not be allowed at Honda for any reason.

Maybe Hayden in place of Capirossi at Ducati?
I can't see Repsol keeping him around much longer after this years performance. They don't exactly keep people just to have them, after all they let Rossi get away when he was winning everything.

That can't happen... it's a breach of contract. Maybe Rodger Lee Hayden, but not Nicky.

Rumor started when it was discovered Nickey had dinner with a Ducati associate - when asked, the answer was he was purchasing a street bike...yea right!! I think this is where it began and conversation about a Ducati ride next season and the fact that Honda will punt him out....

Nicky is locked in at Respol Honda until 2008. He re-newed his contract just before the Estoril indcident last season. So he'll be around till then at least. I would love to see his brother give him a run at Laguna Seca this season. Roger Lee will be on the Kawasaki! It put it in a new thread, but here is the link again:
