There is a whole series of steps you should work on long before you ever get to trail braking. If you are doing things right you should already be setting some good lap times before needing to trail brake. I am at the low 2 minute-ish mark out at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and I barely trail brake at all. The biggest turn I can think of wear I am always touching the brakes is T3. That turn comes up quick when you get T1 and T2 correct. Oh and getting into the chicane.... that is a good place for it to if you are late apexing it. I think the biggest thing is that once you get into actual racing you are going to have to use different things at different times because of situations with other riders and currently I think Syd or Charles could best sum up that experience on the big bikes. right:
