Report: FBI investigates Cardinals for allegedly hacking Astros front office

The F.B.I. is investigating the St. Louis Cardinals front office for breaking into baseball networks of the Houston Astros, according to published reports.

The New York Times reports that the team is being investigated for allegedly hacking into the internal networks of the Astros to steal information about player personnel, including information about trades, proprietary statistics and scouting reports.

The identities of the employees under investigation have not been released.
