Student driver backs over a small bump (motorcycle) at intersection

He calmly walks away from a bad day that could have been hella worse for him.

I think my first reaction would have been to blip it and at least try to get out of there, rather than abandon ship and jump off the bike.

Indeed. It was crazy that she (car driver) hit it then continued to completely roll over the whole darn thing. Glad the biker, acted quickly and calmly got off. The other image had he stayed on was loosing his legs and possibly his life.

Perspective.....yeah...throttling it into the oncoming whatever in those split seconds could have been worse.

i would have been livid, regardless of getting a new bike or not, dealing with insurance is enough of a hassle, i cant imagine how bad it is when its a student driver who is involved.

A couple of years ago I had a lady back over my almost-brand-new Ducati 1098 in a parking lot. Had like 1,600mi on the odometer. Really sucked because it was Thanksgiving too, and I was stuck there stranded until I could track down a friend that could bring a trailer.

I can tell you, my level of was so high, wouldn't matter if it was Kate Upton and Beyonce in the car.

^ ive never heard of anyone doing drivers ed past 18, once you turn 18 you can just take the drivers test at the dmv. if someone is doing the drivers education in their 20's its probably because they have to wear a reflective helmet to bed, which would explain why that chick flattened his bike
