I was talking to a coworker that just started riding. He was talking about 1458 and how curvy it was. I ask him where it was as I'm not familer with that numbered road. He said It starts near brookshire and ends in sealey. I said 'oh racer road, ya I'm very familer with that one'.

Welcome.

Racers Road is absolutely the best route between Pattison and San Felipe, case closed and you're welcome

Hhhmmmm, from where you are, it's probably not worth it on the distance to get there vs the stretch of road that's bad . If you are in the area, that's one thing.

For you, swing over to 249 and head west past Tomball and kick over to the right where it switches to 149. Follow the signs for 149 into the national forest past Montgomery. When you dead end into Anderson, take a right. A few miles down the road, you first left I think is 390, take a left and run that to 3090. You'll eiter end up back in Anderson and run the same path home, or you'll end up in Navasota at hywy 6. Go south on 6 and east on 105 to get back home-ish.

ror, pretty much. Long, sweeping smooth turns with nice straights.

Yeah, i've been looking at Google Maps. I'm pretty sure I see the stretch of road you're talking about.

I should clarify. The route I told you about is great for where you are. Rr is way south and west of you. In a town near brookshire or pattison actually.

It's a decent warm-up if it's part of a route to Fayetteville.

I won't roll my CBR out of the garage unless I'm going to Orsak's, Yankees, Navasota, Somerville, Livingston...

I live at the hole called 290 (between the 2 loops) and i don't take the big bike out anymore except for the track. I use the small one to zip around traffics on the side streets here. Sad.
