Blind Corner survival...... "Another one tried to get me again this morning"

So, as most of you know, when going into a blind corner try to stay away from the middle of the road. You never know what's coming on the other side. Many drivers (myself included have and WILL cross the line, assuming there is nothing coming on the other side. If you are on a bike, you lose vs. a car/truck.

I take this corner every day on my way to and from work. Many a times I meet people mid corner. Some on the line some over the line. Today a white Tahoe could have been my end. But I got lucky.

Here is a photo representation of what it looked like....

The guy actually hung his head and waved "sorry" to me. All is forgiven. I live to ride another day.

I tend to hang wide and late apex blind turns for that reason (and in case of a decreasing radius turn sneaking up on me as well).

Glad your still with us.

Whoever invented decreasing radius turns is a sadistic hole.
