I kinda miss this one too...

My 2008 CBR 1000. It was just a great, all-around track bike.

I have had so many bikes in my 50+ years of riding, and can honestly say I don't regret selling any of them. Wore most of them out, and totalled the rest of them....Working on the ones I have now and in a few years or so, they'll be up for sale too and I'll hopefully not be too old to start on another batch.....

HP2 is cool and all, but yeah, NSX? Can't say I blame you for making that trade.

When I saw this thread I asked myself and I thought the bike I'm gonna regret selling the most is the 1098 streetfighter.
Then I opened the thread and read the OP's thoughts and laughed.
Haven't sold it yet but when I do I'll miss it for the same reasons. It is a badass.

I'm just getting to old for it. One day I'm gonna have to let it go.

I had my tank replaced under the recall, supposedly the replacement is made from better plastic. It swelled a little but to help with that I burn mostly non ethanol gas now.
There's a station near my deer lease that sells chevron with no alcohol so I just take a couple gas cans and fill them whenever I go. Then I try to park it with a tank full of it. Seems to work pretty well, no problems for a couple years.

I DO like that new monster!
