Guy who went down yesterday 6/3/15 @ eldorado & i45

Just wanting to know how hes doing. Me and my wife were first on scene. His name was Clayton and he was from pasadena. Bike was bagged full fairing harley davidson. Hes 34. No helmet. Alot of rash on face and head. He didnt know what happened. Kept repeating himself. We got His phone out and called His mom and let her talk to him. Just curious if anyone can dig up an update. Thanks

Well, we had a rider go down that kept repeating himself. Besides a broken collar bone he was good to go and released from the emergency room the same day.

You could see His skull from the rash on His head. Would You be released that soon?

The most common thing to repeat over and over seems to be "I hit my head, I think I hit my head." Did he say that? The worst is when they start repeating the same thing over and over in between vomiting. "I hit my head" "I think I hit my head"

Nope. He just laid there all calm and kept saying, "I broke my collar bone". Then he'd apologize for delaying our ride. After we all acknowledged what he had said, he'd do it all over again.

I left out one minor detail. He cracked his helmet.

I had surgery, they put 2 plates and 19 screws in my radius and ulna and refused to give me any pain medication because my blood pressure was too low, then sent me home due to Hurricane Rita where I laid in the bed of a truck for 14 hours in traffic trying to get out of town. I was in so much pain I was vomiting.

OUCH man. that sucks...

when i broke mine the first time, my parents were out of town. because i was 17 they wouldnt give me anything, not even tylenol. once my adrenaline wore off i about passed out. the bone fragment poking through the skin didnt help

We had a egg crate foam thing folded in half. It was probably the most painful experience to date through all this wheelchair business.
