SENA customer service.....and....DO I REALLY SOUND LIKE THIS? lol

So, when you call Sena with a problem, they record the call like most everyone, but they also send you the recording (cool?)

I know I sound like an idiot, but I didn't think I sounded like this... lol

Fun fact:
Most people can't stand listening to themselves on a recording because when we normally hear ourselves talk, bass is added as the sound travels through our head.
When we hear ourselves recorded, it is as everyone else hears us.

Actually, it is the recording device. The human voice has overtones which are cut off by the bitrate of the phone recording system. This results in what the ear perceives as a subtle a flattening of the voice, despite the improvements by digital recording (since most companies are not investing musician grade microphones in their telephones, including yours).

This link is a few years old, but still helps clarify the point: http://acoustics.org/pressroom/httpd...on_5aSCb3.html
