Technically there is always pressure.

At sea level, like houston is, is approximately 14.7 psi. or 1.01 bar.

And a loss of pressure would be catastrophic and would also change the measurement to inches of HG (mercury)

Welcome to the forum.
i missed that before, i got it now. I have a 609 license ive never used...im afraid of heights.

I was thinking natural gas, because i just renewed/recertified my license to repair my companys ng compression station. We take the in ground supply and compress it to 4000 psi, then you pump it into a vehicle and raise the timing way up, slap in some hardened valves (if you can change compression ratio to 17.5:1)

If they made a cng tank small enough, id put one on my bike...

oh and thanks for welcome guys

I have hydrogen tanks I've thought about towing behind my bike. But the math doesn't add up, and I would need a trailer hitch. Plus the building engineer says it would take out 20sq miles. I call bs on that.

vehicles that run on hydrogen dont burn hydrogen, when hydrogen moves amongst a membrane and combines with oxygen it strips a electron or two off. hydrogen cars harness that energy and transfer that energy to storage cells and wheel motors

well actually ones that burn hydrogen in a engine are extremely rare.

i would wait and see what happens with graphene in the electric sector.

Yea its a carbon based product but it can be synthesized, its a high capacity long discharge capacitor material. The math thats around right now is a battery made from graphene for a cell phone battery, same dimensions would last months under intense use, on a single charge.

The possibilities are insane. Since its a powdered material before forming the battery can be any shape or size.

Dude, I haven't even mentioned the liquid O2 and argon tanks. We're still in the "ironing things out" stage.

Bmw makes a few that burn hydrogen. You're describing hydrogen fuel cell, which is all but a dead technology at least in the automotive industry.
