I wasnt condemning, just making an observation. of or not, feeling justified or not, that was the headbutt equivalent of a sucker punch.
I disagree. If the guy didn't have it coming, I would consider it a move. This to me is good ol fashioned street justice. JMO.

4500 pound truck headed for a motorcyclist deserves a 4.5 pound helmet head to the face in my book! I wouldn't have left it at that though, once we're both out/off of our vehicles in the middle of the roadway, I'm about to get down and get busy teaching the truck driver a lesson he won't soon forget.

Inbred in the truck deserved more of a beat down, passing in a no passing zone, then jumping out to confront the cyclists.

Then to spill some about kids in the truck, that aren't buckled in as he is slamming ont he brakes, then peeling out. He's a winner, the gene ins't too deep in his neck of the woods.

Like I said, Im not condemning the headbutt, just calling it like I see it. I wouldve done the same, i reckon.

No such thing as a fair fight, the douche in the truck got exactly what was coming to him.
