Motorcycles Unlimited just called. Bike should be back in my possession next week. Official Father's Day request sent this morning to the warden to put out "feelers" (aka approval).

Chris, How much money I gotta invest in one of these Sena things so we can BS the whole 800 miles trip?

Get with Patrick, he can get you a pretty good deal.

I suggest getting the extra clap that allows you to use a wired mic AND earbuds. The speakers in the helmet are ok, but you get superior sound from earbuds. (get some with comfy foam tips)

My buddy Ben and I took this trip last year. We spent a ton of time loading mp3's into our phones and getting a good playlist inline.... NEVER USED THE MUSIC, we just yapped and yapped the entire trip

This could be unwanted though... to each his own.

Those roads are awesome! Especially on 600RRs.

I kinda want to go on this ride.... I might be able to get my DRZ home in time.

In fact, is this road anywhere near County Rd 190 in Dripping Springs? I think that might be the exact road we ended up on.

Not sure. A few peeps from another board might be going too, I'd like to keep it around 6 or less. 8 MAX. No one is 100% yet, not even me, as I have to see about the weather. I will confirm the night before. The last two times I've done this, there was a 30-50% chance and we got stormed on both times. Kinda puts a damper.
