Houston Rockets' James Harden named to All-NBA First Team

The Rockets begin their countdown to Game 2 of the NBA Western Conference Finals Thursday and they received good news to begin their day in the Bay Area.

The Association has announced its All-NBA teams and James Harden made the first team.

Harden, who finished second in MVP voting, joins Hakeem Olajuwon and Moses Malone as the only Rockets to earn 1st team honors more than once.

Harden averaged 27 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the regular season.

He was joined on the first team by LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Marc Gasol and Stephen Curry.

Harden leads the Rockets Thursday night in Game 2 against the Warriors in the Western Conference Finals. We'll have live coverage on KPRC 2 News at 4, 5 and 6 p.m.
