Had my second accident persay,lol

a block from my home, i was heading to work on my bike.......im going about 40 mph, getting close to a stop sign........suddenly an old man in a big dodge ram, comes around the corner speeding, on my lane......... i slamed on the brakes, and kept sliding.......... at the last second i jolted the bike to the side and slid on my right side , i bearly missed the truck, he slammed and swerved at the last second...i came close to fallling in the ditch also... if i didnt have frame sliders ...i would of jacked up my bike.... i was so ....

that is twice this week that some one has had a car make a biker have a get off and since the car never made contact the cops do nothing. WTF? So we are suppose to hit cars now just so we don't have to fix the bikes ourselves?

I'm glad you're ok! That sucks that the cop couldn't do anything! You have to be hit by a car not paying attention for leagal action to take place! That's such ... that guy should have at least gotten a ticket! I hope he himself!

But it's good that you're ok!

They need to take into account the cause and effect rule. Specially if you have a witness. I you didnt i could see why the cop would have a tuffy with that one. Word vs. Word.

It definitely sucks.

I just encounted the same Sh*t Monday. I bounced off the back of a car b/c i couldnt stop in time. It was raining and i didnt want to mash the brakes and mess up the shiny side.

It's getting old now...people in cars/trucks need to keep an eye out for the bikers. I have been averaging at least one or two close encounters almost everytime I take the bike out and it's bright green for 's sake - it's not like you can't see it!
