Woohoo. And so much for the "LAST TWS (Texas World Speedway) TRACKDAY EVER" hype I had a hunch was gonna be repeated a couple of times. Someone ring the CNRA, stat.

which is great news since I missed the last date with LSTD due to bike malfunctions. I know they'll be there in June, but I'll wait until fall after hearing this news from the developer and TWS (Texas World Speedway) operations.

being in the civil field and knowing all the red tape to establish a MUD and all the due diligence required before closing on a property....it will happen, only a matter of time. They usually iron out all the major planning and zoning issues up front (along with preliminary dirt calcs and potential FEMA issues, etc.) and will enter a contract agreement (and extend it as needed until the seller gets fed up or has another buyer) prior to the closing. Until then, the owner will likely continue to hold events and generate revenue.

Yes but collateral damage has been done already. Fastline? and MRSH overbooked with very few bike track days.

Probably not Fastline. We're in Silent Ghost Mode.

I'm not saying it's the end of Fastline but it did screw up the year.

What's the status on the TCEQ & EPA studies/requirements? Any word on the impact of the endangered Navasota ladies'-tresses rumored to be on the property?

My reading retention can suck at times but it looks like drainage and same wooded areas of the land parcel would impact coverage and or drainage to lands where the flowers are found in a high concentration.

In reading that general area held a high concentration of the flower but has been bulldozed over due to expansion of CS and expansion of Hwy 6.

Not sure its enough to stop it. Probably had to design drainage and alter development of certain grids of the development.
