corrected or not, these bikes nowadays ARE capable of mid 10 second TRUE quarter mile times. deal with that as you may. and your idea if a 600 putting out 50hp is the most rediculous thing ive ever heard, especially when you say that your lawnmower puts out 22 TRUE hp. um yeah, slap that on a 350 lb bike and see where it gets you in a hurry.
oh no he didnt:confused2

^^^^^THAT^^^RIGHT^^^THERE^^^^is what weve been trying to tell you all along!!!!!! the 600cc bike of today is fully capable of 10sec quartermile times.EXCEPT it was done with a BONE STOCK bike. NOBODY said anything about MODDED BIKE. and dont give me that about "corrected times". youve apparently only been reading what you WANT to read. either that, or common sense just isnt sinking in. i know its probably hurting your "i have a 1400cc monster" ego, but with time and therapy, im sure you'll learn to cope.

now ive honestly become DUMBER because of this conversation. so im done with it. peace.

I've never met anyone off this board, but thinking of showing up tomorrow. What are your rides usually like, I don't mind getting on it once in a while, but I'm not a ride down the freeway at 100 mph like your hair is on fire rider. Also is it the AMC at the corner of beltway and 45 that your meeting at? Thanks for the info. later.

yeah that is correct AMC. there is a TEXAS land and cattle in that amc parking lot which is usually where the bikers gather. not all groups ride that fast. some groups take it nice and easy, which is what i prefer

IIRC correctly, Ricky Gadson DID infact hit a 10.30 on a bone stock 2006 Kawasaki ZX-6R. The Yamaha was a little slower. They then strapped both front ends, and the R6 went JUST under 10 flat, while the 6R was about 1/100 away from, the 9's.
