disgusting as they may be , there are some that learn from examples, and then there are the examples.

young people need a reality check sometimes, when we were kids we were "bulletproof" as well. well here's a young man who died of his own cause, nobody else's fault but his own. if this prevents 1 person from acting in the same manor, that his loss may be of value.

If I truly believed that their presence on the web would save lives and another family from having to go through the pain that we have suffered, then, yes, it may be worth it. Unfortnately I am not convinced. How long have we know about the effects of cigarette smoking and have seen the black lungs, yet so many continue to smoke or start smoking. How many parents preach to their teens to buckle up; don't drink and drive, etc. In most states you must take a driver's ed class where gruesome pictures of crash scenes are shown before you get your license, yet we loose so many to auto crashes. Unfortunately, we have all made poor decisions in our life and this one cost my nephew his. This is a decision the we have to live with and I can assure you that it is has been difficult for his family and friends.

I personally do believe their presence saves lives! I recently had a close friend pass away a little over a month ago in a m/c crash, although he wasnt at fault. It took his accident to bring my irresponsible riding to a complete STAND STILL, because it brought death of people my age (he was 7 days younger than me) to my doorstep.

Of course we can't expect to save the masses but it will save someone. It's reality in color and u have no choice but to stop and pay attention to the "what if's" when u see something like this.

State Farm now has a dvd for youthful operators to watch about other kids who have made irresponsible decisions as young drivers and it shows the accidents that these 4 kids caused, and the lives the accidents affected. The purpose is to make it real for those that think it's a game, and I can't help to believe that their stories and even ur nephews stories will help some misguided soul rethink their next stupid act.

Thanks though!

This thread is months old and should NOT have been brought back.

BTW Houstongixxer, no offense but dude if you are gonna use pics of yourself in your avatar and sig, either get someone to give you some or at least pay for them so you dont have the photog's stamp across them.
