I dont know if gear would've saved him anyway at 150+, then again, we dont really know..maybe he would've survived in critical condition at the very least. That still does'nt justify him doing what he did, its a shame he died over a simple fight.

Girls are BAD!!!! this reminds me of when my friend got his 1000. Got into a fight with his gf because she was making out with ummm "some other girl"... took off on his bike with no gear at all doing 90 in my hood and couldn't hold it on a curve and went through some yards. He got very very lucky that night, it was the second night he owned the bike. Girls are just flat out bad, nuff said. I wish I still had that video for some incriminating evidence lol. :icon_bigg

I used to live in that area. Very congested, stoplights every block or two and if I remember correctly, a 45 mph speed limit.

Do dumb , dumb happens to you.:dontknow:

HA!!! See, this is the kinda rider I have no remorse for. Some of you can flame me if you want, but he has NO and I mean NO excuse for gettin off then riding fast just because him and his girl "had a fight". He was stupid, didnt think about himself or consider the consequences of his actions. So now he's paid the ultimate price. Yeah, it would definitely suck if it was one of my family members or cousins, but hey, STUPID HURTS!!!

This could've been avoided if the man had thought about it just for 10 seconds, he would still be alive.......

What you should be saying is: COMMON SENSE ISN'T VERY COMMON!!!

Call the spade a spade... this guy lost his life cause he was STOOPID!!!

Sometimes I wonder if some of you guys don't get a kickback everytime someone signs up for a MSF course. Go read this: http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/msb/dl-8.pdf

Then go take the course... if you have questions the Tx Dot website has a forum to answer them. If not... post here and I'm sure someone will post your thread!

The best news of the story is that happens to be a Taco Bell that still closes late at night so fortunately no patrons or employees were victims of this idiot.
