If I recall correctly Jersey Village PD has a policy of "no-colors" in that City and back in the day some MC members were stop and harassed by The Man over there.

Get your history right -
Kalashikova and Scheimisser were joto amores. They used to trade transvestite clothing when they were dating, but the thing about the gun designs being similar led to their breakup.

I'd think it'd be to let them know you're a "friendly" and not a rival MC.

No freedom exists from the COC&I and its wishes regarding wearing what you want if you aren't a recognized MC. At least without the risks of violence and intimidation.

Seems the MC's have trouble with the real concept of freedom unless it impinges on their ability express themselves.

Well then that certainly makes the government throwing the concept of freedom out the window okay, right? I mean, we certainly can't expect to hold them to a higher standard than a MC.

I wonder if they will be also harassing the non-MC groups like: "Freedom Cruisers RC", "HOG", "Southern Cruisers RC", "B.A.C.A", "ALR", etc.

There's also the LE MC's.

I am myself a member of the "American Legion Riders".

The latest from the FB page of the TXCOC&I:

Quote:
IMPORTANT COC&I NOTICE
There are many rumors circulating across the state that we are working to verify. We have supporters working on fact-checking and providing media outlets, clubs, organizations and families with current factual information as it becomes available.
Here are a few things to note:
• Rides and Events planned to go to the Waco area – DO NOT do this – it can hinder efforts with getting our people released and it could also place you in danger.
FBI/DPS State-Wide Bulletin stating all bikers are at risk of search and arrest.
• We have reached out to both the FBI and DPS and have been told that not only is this false but that these scenarios would be against the law as a violation of your rights.

• Note on this from COC&I: Be smart but go about your business as you normally would.
We will continue to pass along information as it comes in.
Like you, we are all eager to help our innocent friends and families.
We encourage continued patience so attorneys and others can focus on this number one priority.
If you have a member, friend or relative that is a part of the COC&I that was arrested at Sunday’s Waco incident please private message us via Facebook.
Please share this post to help get the word out.
More will follow on how you can help.
Much Love and Respect
TXCOC&I

Who knows what's true....seems like to much disinformation on purpose.

So, you're not allowed to have a gun in an establishment with a TABC license...unless you are a cop, or have a concealed carry permit and are in a business such as a grocery store that also sells alcohol. 51% (revenue is based on alcohol), no one can have a weapon. So, that's a lot of gun owners breaking the law in the base case.

depends on that certain franchise. different restaurants will have different profits from the sale of food/alcohol. There would have been signs placed in an obvious place (front door, etc.) if it did receive the majority of its profits from the sales of alcohol.

We all know criminals don't give a anyway, this is information for law abiding citizens.

Veronica Williams, another of Twin Peaks’ waitresses, took to her Facebook page to express her outrage over everything that had happened, and condemned the general manager for not heeding the warnings of police.

“I’ve been biting my tongue and I can’t anymore. [T]he TP general manager was asked by police multiple times to not host events that will bring rivalry MC to one public location but the GM did not take the warnings seriously and continued with the biker events. This is NOT, I repeat, IS NOT in any way the fault of the [waitresses], bartenders, bussers, kitchen stuff, and our other managers that work at Twin Peaks. The staff that was below our GM had absolute no control and no say in the decision of whether or not to continue with the events. The other managers and the girls thought it would be very logical to NOT host these events after the police warned our GM.”

Military records show one of the nine bikers killed outside a Texas restaurant was a Purple Heart recipient who served in Vietnam.

Jesus Delgado Rodriguez of New Braunfels, Texas, was an active-duty Marine from 1969 to 1973. He received the Purple Heart, as well as a Navy commendation medal and several other awards. The Purple Heart is given to those wounded or killed in action.

Family members said Rodriguez had belonged to two now defunct motorcycle clubs but was not part of any club when he was shot and killed at Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.
