Not saying that.
Also, last time I looked being a member of an MC, even the Banditos or Cossacks, does not immediately warrant being arrested.
Point being, there were other MC's there that have no criminal activity attached to their members.
If you attend a lawful public meeting and a small number of others attending the same meeting commit a crime you should not expect to be arrested simply because you were at the same place/attending the same meeting.

I agree.

But lets be honest, for the most part these 2 (and a few others) MC's aren't on this earth for the good of charities.....

No, they're not.
BUT, they are still afforded the same rights as everyone else when it comes to probable cause and reasonable arrest.

Can you name these "good" gangs that were there? I'm just curious.
If I were in a "good" gang would I associate with the bad ones? Would your marine buddies MC go party with the Arian Brotherhood or would they find a better place to do their business? I don't know about you, but if i was part of reputable gang that didn't cause trouble and I stumbled upon a party with a buck of crisp or bloods I don't know if I'd stick around too long.

Both the Leathernecks and Veterans MC's were there.
Both are non criminal groups.

Also, FWIW I've seen both CMA and American Legion members at COC meetings.
Are you going to tell me they're criminal gangs/organized crime members as well?

As I stated before, it's going to be interesting when the ballistic reports come back on those killed or wounded by gunfire.

I have no doubt that most were killed by cops. I cant be bothered by that since no bystanders were injured. If they had a gun I understand the need to put them down and fast. I would hate to be using my gun in self defense against an attacker only to be put down by police for do so.

I agree.. and reading some of the posts to that blog have raised some questions for me..

"RU Says:
May 19, 2015 at 7:50 am
In one of the interviews with the sheriff he said their were “off Duty” officers who were in the restaurant who got involved in the fight inside the restaurant. Not that I trust what he said but makes you wonder if it wasn’t egged on by some with an agenda."

"Jake from State Farm Says:
May 19, 2015 at 8:27 am
I think it is likely there were infiltrating undercover officers (not these 3 in particular but I did find their attire and appearance, “curious” given the police were rounding up anyone who had a Harley Devidson key.

At about 6:16 mark in this video 3 men walk by and are followed by the camera at least one in a Harley shirt, chained wallet(?) and one may have a side arm. The 3 men walk to a police line and they seem to be in friendly accompaniment of a police vehicle.

Then I must be a criminal since I have customers that are members of MC's?
I also attend meets where sometimes various MC club members will show up.
Does that make me a criminal as well?
I guess you're also going to start requiring background checks before you ride with a group to make sure none of them are criminals....

Careful where you go with the guilt by association thing.
It's a small jump from what you're inferring about MC's to going to jail because you ride a sport bike and some other sport bike riders broke the law.

its just like anything else, not all COC members are criminals. MC's are similiar to any other "team" or brotherhood, some of them just do the wrong plain and simple. Id be willing to guarantee not every person there had crime on their agenda!

and the 100 weapons doesnt equal 100 suspects comment...i agree and that was my point. there wasnt enough weapons for everyone to have ONE. why would you show up to a gun fight with not even a knife...? I personally think things just got out of hand.

and no one is talking about baltimore right now...where the bloods and crypts have called a truce...
