I just bought a pair of some DAinese Perf...they are great!

+1 I have a couple pairs and although they haven't been crash tested, they are comfortable and seem to give good protection. I like the ankle restraint system they use.

Is there a boot comparison chart someplace like they have for bike comparisons?

They crash well. I recently bought some Formas, but I am going back to TCX. I had a bad ankle injury back in 2010 and am very cautious to protect that area.

I can't offer comparisons, as they are what I have always used.(not wearing TCX when I hurt my ankle).

The Fornas are good, but I had a rubber strap break on mine. Not a big deal, but just a feeling of safety with the TCX boots.

Speaking of boots... I have a brand new pair (never worn) black alpinestar smx boots (size 44). These retail for 369.00. With tax, you'll be @ 400.

First 300 get them. Reason for selling... These were a birthday gift that didn't fit.
