Race Boots - if you had the money what would you buy?

I'm looking at new boots.
Can't make up my mind, but I want good ones.

If you had the money, what would be your recommendation for the BEST boot?

If you had half the money - what boot would you recommend?

I'm partial to white because of the heat from the sun. These are 3 that I'm mildly interested in, but maybe I should look at something better.

I have the vortice and the one thing I don't like is it takes to much time to put them on. Other than that, they're great boots. Comfy!

And there is no better.

I've got the Sidi Vortice, and really like that the soles can be replaced. I'm on my second set, and have a couple of more spares in the garage for future use.

I have the A-Stars SMX for as my track book. honestly, i don't like them much. you dont have a lot of options in terms of fitment and adjustability. even though i've never had the SIDIs i would receommend you steer clear of the SMXs.

+1 for the a-star (supertech r).

With that being said, let me know if you're interested in purchasing boots. Shoot me a pm on what you're looking for and I'll get you a quote.

+1 to the Supertechs instead of the SMX series for the track. After two track days they became my street boots.

I really need to try the Sidi's and Moto Liberty is running a sale...

Sidis are too narrow and look funky. The smx has a loose heel, still not sure what i would get again either.

I bought my SMX boots brand new for like $110 because cyclegear lost the box and the inventory kept automatically cutting the price cause they had them for so long. Even still, I wish I had gotten something else. The fit is not great. They are snug toward the front of my foot, loose in the heel, snug around the ankle, and very very loose up top.

I also think the Sidi's are the best. I have a couple of Cortech Latigo Air boots in stock that are on sale at 50% off on the remaining sizes I have in inventory. If anyone is looking for an inexpensive boot let me know.

Sidis vortices air fit me the best whereas the other models the toe box is too narrow.

SIDI has been the best boots for me. Great quality and comfort.
I think they are worth their price.
The Mag 1 seems to be an awesome boot, will be my next purchase.
